ADNOC approves $5.5bn LNG export terminal project in Ruwais, UAE, doubling production capabilities.
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has approved a $5.5bn liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal project in Ruwais, UAE, doubling its production capabilities. The project will add 9.6 million tonnes of annual gas export capacity and is expected to be completed by late 2028. The LNG plant is part of ADNOC's strategic expansion plans following deals for LNG projects in the US and Mozambique.
