12-year-old child goes missing, last seen in a pond in Ascension Parish, search ongoing.
Ascension Parish first responders search for a child who went into a pond and never resurfaced on Monday. The child, reportedly around 12, was last seen in the Keystone Subdivision area of Prairieville. Law enforcement officials, along with divers and local agencies, are actively searching for the child, while the family remains on site during the search. The incident is currently under investigation.
