UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan emphasizes the mobile industry's role in driving positive change and reducing global internet disparities.

The UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, Kanako Mabuchi, highlighted the global issue of internet disparities and stressed the need for continuous efforts towards full connectivity and accessible devices. In 2021, one-third of the world's population, around 2.7 billion people, did not have internet access.
