Rapper Cadence Weapon, an Edmonton native and Oilers fan, has created a revamped version of his 2017 rap anthem "Connor McDavid" for the current NHL finals. The updated version, titled "2024 Stanley Cup Version", incorporates current Oilers players and references the team's last finals appearance in 2006. The Polaris Music Prize-winning artist shared clips of the new anthem on his Instagram account.
