Rockdale County launches Wander Alert Program for residents with cognitive or intellectual disorders.
Rockdale County introduces a new Wander Alert Program to help those with cognitive or intellectual disorders, such as dementia, autism, Down Syndrome, or other intellectual/developmental disabilities, who are prone to wandering off. Residents are encouraged to contact the sheriff's office if they know someone fitting the criteria, and interested parties can contact Major LeJohn Tate at LeJohn.Tate@RockdaleCountyGA.gov.
