Probation officer Devina Ford missed an email that delayed the recall of murderer Jordan McSweeney, who killed law graduate Zara Aleena in Ilford, east London. McSweeney, with 28 previous convictions, should have been classified as high risk but was categorized as medium by newly qualified probation officer Austin Uwaifo. His line manager, Ms Ford, later admitted her failure to properly supervise his work.
