Paul Mescal stars as Lucius Verus in "Gladiator 2" sequel, set for release later this year.
Paul Mescal, star of "Normal People," has been spotted on the set of the "Gladiator" sequel in his role as Lucius Verus, the adult son of Lucilla. The film, set after the death of Maximus, will follow Lucius as he seeks revenge against his mother's killer and also stars Denzel Washington, Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, and Connie Nielsen, reprising her role as Lucius' mother. "Gladiator 2" is set for release later this year.
