Palestine police arrested Cordero Smith, a man with outstanding warrants, after recognizing him driving in their patrol area. Smith entered a laundromat and, upon arrest attempt, resisted and tried to run. Officers used a taser to apprehend him, discovering a gun and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle.
