Investigators have determined that a transcript of alleged communications between the Titan submersible and its mothership during the vessel's fatal dive to the Titanic wreck site last year was fabricated. The OceanGate submersible imploded in June 2023, killing all five people on board, and the log claimed to show a desperate battle for survival. However, the Marine Board of Investigation found no evidence that those onboard had any warning of the catastrophic implosion, and it is unclear who created the false transcript.
