France's far-right National Rally wins 31.37% in European Parliament elections, more than doubling Macron's coalition's 14.6%.

France's far-right National Rally (RN) party has experienced a significant increase in support, winning 31.37% of the vote in the recent European Parliament elections - more than double the Macron coalition's 14.6%. The RN's surge is largely at the expense of President Macron's party, which lost over 6,400 districts previously voted for the president. In response, Macron has called for a snap parliamentary election, dissolving the French parliament and attempting to counter the far-right's influence.
