Former JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna has been sent to 14 days of judicial custody by a court in Bengaluru following allegations of rape and sexual abuse. Revanna, grandson of JD(S) leader H D Deve Gowda, was arrested on May 31 after returning from Germany and is accused of sexually harassing a 47-year-old former maid. He is listed as accused number two, with his father and MLA, H D Revanna, as the primary accused. Prajwal Revanna has been booked in three cases of sexual assault and faces charges of rape.
