DePaul University dismissed biology professor Anne d'Aquino for assigning students to discuss Gaza genocide impact on human health.
DePaul University has dismissed a part-time biology professor, Anne d'Aquino, after she assigned students to discuss the impact of the "genocide in Gaza on human health and biology" in May. The university investigated the matter following student complaints and concluded that the assignment had negatively affected the learning environment by introducing extraneous political material. DePaul replaced d'Aquino with a new instructor.
