Apple may integrate Google's Gemini AI into iOS in the future, according to Craig Federighi, Apple's senior vice president of software engineering. At WWDC, Apple announced a partnership with OpenAI to introduce GPT-40, the large language model that powers ChatGPT, into iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and MacOS Sequioa. Federighi stated that Apple aims to enable users to choose AI models they want, including Google Gemini, in the future. No official announcements have been made yet.
