44-year-old Caryn Chomsky, a runner from Boynton Beach, was tragically killed on Sunday morning when she was struck by a car that veered off the road at Florida's Turnpike west of Delray Beach. The 19-year-old driver continued off the road, down an embankment, and into a ditch. Chomsky was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver remained uninjured. Authorities have stated that charges are pending in the collision.
