60-year-old man dies in Darlington flat fire; Emergency services were called to Forcett Street in Darlington at around 3:44am, where they found a fully developed fire. Firefighters rescued the man and performed CPR before transferring him to the hospital where he died hours later. A joint investigation by the fire service and Durham Police is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
