33-year-old Cincinnati Reds reliever Emilio Pagan was placed back on the 15-day injured list with a right lat strain after being activated from the IL due to right triceps tightness. Pagan pitched in Cincinnati's 4-3 win against the Chicago Cubs on Saturday. In 22 relief appearances this season, Pagan has a 4.43 ERA. The Reds recalled right-hander Carson Spiers from Triple-A Louisville in a corresponding move.
