35-year-old chemist Amarjit Sharma found dead with throat slit near his house in Kathua, Jammu & Kashmir. His murder sparked protests from relatives and neighbors demanding immediate arrest of the unidentified culprits. Sharma's body was carried by hundreds who blocked the Jammu-Pathankot highway and railway track before dispersing on police assurance of investigation.
