18 UK bathing spots, including popular seaside towns like Blackpool North, Bridlington South Beach, and Bognor Regis (Aldwick), have been advised against swimming due to poor water quality. The Environment Agency has designated 425 official bathing spots in England, with 281 having excellent water quality and 99 having good quality. In contrast, 18 sites have been classified as having poor water quality.
