TikTok's popular "Spudman", a jacket potato seller, has been forced to relocate from his spot in St Editha's Square due to redevelopment by Tamworth Borough Council. Ben Newman, known as Spudman, has over 3.1 million followers on the platform, but the council has not yet specified where he needs to move or for how long. Spudman fears his large following could cause tension among other businesses if moved further into the town centre.
