Taiwan arrested a Chinese man sailing a speedboat into a harbour at the mouth of a river leading to Taipei for illegal entry. The Taiwanese coast guard spotted the suspicious vessel six nautical miles off the coast of Tamsui in northern Taiwan. The man was arrested for violating Taiwan's entry and exit laws, as tensions with China persist due to Beijing's view of Taiwan as its own territory.
