Suzuki Motor plans to close its Thai auto plant by 2025, as part of its global production site optimization strategy. The Rayong province plant, run by local subsidiary Suzuki Motor Thailand, will be shuttered, with production moving to ASEAN countries, Japan, and India. Suzuki will continue offering sales and after-sales services in Thailand and plans to introduce electric vehicles and hybrids, supporting the country's carbon neutrality goals.
