Variable State's Polaris, a 4-player sci-fi shooter, is inspired by Syndicate Wars and Halo, with dynamic, destructible environments, on-foot and vehicle combat, and large-scale battles. Players join superpowered freedom fighters to reclaim lost homeworlds from the ruthless Regime. Developed by a team from studios like Creative Assembly, Splash Damage, and Cloud Imperium, Polaris launches on Steam in 2024, with a beta playtest coming soon.
