PETA urges Army to retire injured horses involved in central London Trooping the Colour incident.
Animal rights group PETA has urged the Army to withdraw three military horses that bolted through central London, urging them to retire instead of participating in the Trooping the Colour ceremony. The horses were injured in the incident in April and are now back on service, expected to take part in the King's Birthday Parade. PETA warns that letting the horses perform in front of crowds is a risk to both the animals' and the public's safety.
