Nicola Brennan, who faced a jury disagreement in her murder trial, has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of her former lover, Juris Viktorovs, in Co Wicklow. The Director of Public Prosecutions accepted Brennan's plea that she unlawfully killed but did not murder Viktorovs at the shared home they had in Ballyconnell, Co Wicklow, on February 10th, 2022. The case will now proceed to a sentencing hearing on October 7th.
