A busy Midtown Atlanta intersection near Piedmont Park is closed from June 9 to June 14 for construction, improving safety for pedestrians and cyclists accessing the Eastside Trail. The project includes a raised intersection, new crosswalks, pedestrian signals, traffic signals, a plaza, and a bicycle crossing to the trail. Detours are in place and construction is expected to be completed in September.
