London's office construction volume hits all-time high, yet new project starts in the capital have fallen by almost 20% in the past six months, according to Deloitte's latest London Office Crane Survey. The number of new starts dropped from 474,000 square meters in November 2023 to 390,000 square meters in March 2024, while refurbishment starts decreased by a quarter, at 230,000 square meters from 307,000 square meters in the previous survey.
