LIC reports a 46.35% YTD growth in premium collections to ₹29,074.03 crore, surpassing the 12.62% growth for all 26 private sector life insurers. New business premiums (NBP) for life insurers in India increased 15% YoY to ₹27,034.15 crore in May, driven by growing demand for insurance coverage. LIC saw a 19% rise in its NBP to ₹16,690.39 crore, and private players' total NBP increased by 9.78% to ₹10,343.75 crore.
