Labour proposes free breakfast clubs in primary schools, funded by tackling tax avoidance, to save parents £400/year and reduce absences.
Labour claims its plan for free breakfast clubs in every primary school would save parents £400 a year and reduce school absence by 450,000 days. The policy is aimed at helping families with food bills and reducing the cost of alternative childcare, potentially saving up to £2,000 a year. Labour will fund the initiative by clamping down on tax avoidance and extending its non-dom tax plans to overseas earnings.
