Kansas Gas Service seeks KCC approval to raise rates by $58.1M, increasing average monthly bills by $6.71-$9.48.

The Kansas Corporation Commission (KCC) is holding public hearings on June 13 in Topeka and June 17 in Wichita to discuss Kansas Gas Service's (KGS) request to raise rates by $58.1 million. If approved, the average monthly residential bill would increase by $6.71 for those using less natural gas and $9.48 for those using more. Virtual participation options are available. The KCC will issue a decision by October 25, 2024.
