Italian court places Dior SRL under judicial administration for subcontracting to exploitative Chinese firms.

An Italian court has placed Manufacturers Dior SRL, owned by LVMH's Italian unit, under judicial administration for subcontracting production to Chinese companies that exploited workers. This is the third time the Milan court has taken such action against fashion companies this year. The court found that Dior did not apply appropriate measures to verify working conditions or the capabilities of the contracting companies.
