Nirmala Sitharaman, a key member of PM Narendra Modi's cabinet, has taken the oath as a Union Minister for the third time. Sitharaman has served in both the 2014 and 2019 Modi cabinets, holding positions such as Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs, Minister for Commerce and Industry with Independent Charge, and Union Defence Minister. In 2019, she became the first woman appointed as the full-time Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs.
