GoldQuest Mining Corp., a Canadian-based company, discovered the Romero and Romero South deposits in the Dominican Republic's San Juan province. The Tireo Project, owned by GoldQuest, is a 100% owned 50 km land position overlying the Tireo Formation rocks. The company plans to start a 10,000m drilling program in late summer. The Romero asset, located within the Tireo Gold-Copper Belt, has significant potential for expansion, with the planned mine focusing on the high-grade gold and copper "core" of the Romero Deposit.
