Entangled humpback whale spotted off Tacking Point, NSW, heading north; monitored by NPWS.
An entangled humpback whale was spotted off Tacking Point, NSW, heading north. The whale was first seen swimming near Tacking Point Lighthouse on June 9th. While there were reports of a similar sighting on June 10th, a whale spotter believes this was a second whale that managed to free itself. National Parks and Wildlife Services (NPWS) were aware of the entangled whale and continue to monitor its progress.
