Emmerdale announces Sophie Roper as new producer, replacing Kate Brooks who moved to Coronation Street. Roper, who has worked on the ITV soap since 2016, will be responsible for storytelling, casting, and production process, working alongside Laura Shaw. Iain MacLeod, Executive Producer, praised Roper's abilities, stating she's "the perfect person to maintain Emmerdale’s tradition of challenging, exciting narratives."
