Dutch industrial output slowed its decline in April, falling 3.5% year-on-year after a 5.1% drop in March. The sector has been declining since July 2023. Declines were seen in repair and installation of machines (38.2%) and transport (14%). Monthly, industrial production rose 0.4% in April. Industry producers' outlook for May improved compared to April, with manufacturers expecting higher activity.
