A resident from Ansonia, Connecticut won $1 million in the Powerball lottery after matching all five numbers but not the Powerball. The winning ticket was sold at a Stop & Shop in Ansonia. The Powerball jackpot has grown to an estimated $208 million with the next drawing scheduled for Monday night. Any prize over $50,000 in Connecticut must be claimed in person at the Lottery headquarters in Wallingford. Unclaimed prizes include four 100,000 Cash 5 tickets and a Lucky for Life ticket worth $25,000 per year.
