Citicore Renewable Energy Corp (CREC) is considering issuing green bonds next year, depending on interest rates, to finance its renewable energy projects. CREC raised P5.3 billion ($104.8M) from its IPO at the Philippine Stock Exchange and aims to build a 5GW renewable energy portfolio by 2028, with a focus on solar energy. The company is also interested in participating in the Energy department's Green Energy Auction program (GEA-3).
