Single-car crash in Williamtown on June 10 closed Nelson Bay Road, near Steel Street. Ambulance paramedics treated an elderly man initially trapped in the vehicle. Police closed the road in both directions and powerlines were affected. Motorists were advised to allow extra travel time, use diversions, and avoid the area.
