A Belgian tourist, who had gone missing for several days in Fiordland national park, was found alive after a rescue operation. The man deviated from his group's plan while crossing Dore Pass and was found at Clinton Hut with a minor knee injury. Police Search and Rescue urged hikers to take necessary precautions, stating that Dore Pass requires route-finding skills, river crossing, and alpine experience.
