Boomer Australians recognize younger generations face financial challenges and want to help, but refuse to compromise their retirement lifestyle, according to a new AMP survey. Four in five older Australians believe their children are struggling more than they did at the same age, and three in four think passing on their wealth is important. However, seven in ten surveyed are unwilling to jeopardize their retirement to assist their children.
