Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II made a historic visit to Ga State and pledged GH¢500,000 to an educational endowment fund for children in the region. The Asantehene's visit marks the first by an Asantehene to the Ga State in 78 years, following a similar visit by Otumfuo Osei Agyeman Prempeh II. The funds will support the education of less-privileged Ga children in the Ga Dangbe region.
