Two "zombie" snapper caught in Auckland raise concerns about a disease affecting snapper, with sunken eyes, bloodshot and milky, and appearing to be missing flesh. Port Albert resident Steph Treadwell and Dargaville recreational fisherman Sam Erickson both reported noticing sick snapper a month ago. The term "zombie fish" has been coined to describe the unwell fish.
