69-year-old Rhonda Parker, who moved to rural Boyup Brook, WA, from Sydney in 1981, has been honoured for four decades of service working with community groups. The humble local hero, who is a member of the Country Women's Association, was recognised in the King's Birthday honours. Despite her surprise, Parker is grateful for the recognition of her contributions to her adopted hometown.
