79-year-old Bernard Julius Horvath, a B.C. man, was given a conditional sentence order including 18-month house arrest after being found with 2.96 kg of methamphetamine at Vancouver International Airport. Horvath was unknowingly involved in a digital scam and was persuaded to carry a suitcase containing the drugs. The Canada Border Services Agency flagged the flight as Horvath's ticket was bought two days prior by a third party.
