Witney resident Trevor Winstone, charged with five counts of indecent assault on a boy under 16, appeared in court on June 6. The alleged victim, protected by anonymity, was aged 7-9 at the time of the offenses, which reportedly occurred in the late 1980s. Winstone's case will continue at Oxford Crown Court on July 4 for plea and trial preparation.
