A significant sinkhole has formed in Durban CBD's Dr Yusuf Dadoo Street intersection due to an accidental underground water line burst, prompting the eThekwini Municipality to warn motorists and pedestrians. The streets surrounding the sinkhole have been closed, and traffic has been diverted to alternative routes by Metro Police. The Water and Sanitation Department is on site to fix the damaged line.
