One person was killed in a fire at a residence on John Pound Road, Tillsonburg. A neighbour called 911 after discovering the fire at 1 AM, and upon arrival, officers observed heavy smoke. Firefighters found an individual deceased in the front room despite life-saving efforts. The cause of the fire has been deemed not suspicious, and the scene remains under investigation by Oxford County OPP.
