Nepal's abundant hydroelectric power boosts EV sales, reducing oil imports and improving air quality. Almost all of Nepal's electricity is generated from clean hydropower, driving EV growth. EV imports have doubled in two years, cutting oil import costs by $22m annually. The government lowers import duties on EVs and expands charging stations, aiming for EVs to comprise 25% of auto sales by 2025 and 90% by 2030.
