NCLT orders insolvency proceedings against Himalayan Mineral Waters, approving Jammu & Kashmir Bank's plea for a defaulted corporate guarantee given for LeeL Electricals. The Allahabad bench has appointed Bhoopesh Gupta as interim resolution professional for the Dehradun-based firm's CIRP. A two-member bench found the application suitable for initiation of CIRP against Himalayan Mineral Waters, which allegedly owes J&K Bank Rs 50 crore.
