The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial cabinet, led by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, approved the establishment of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minerals Development and Management Company. The company aims to enhance revenue from the mineral sector through better structures and processes. Other key initiatives discussed included strengthening the KP Police, reallocating traffic fines, introducing an online payment system, and improving developmental schemes execution.
